Q. How long do I have to wait after shaving to get waxed?
A. If it is your first time, you should wait 2½ to 3 weeks. The hair must be long enough for the wax to grab it.

Q. I am currently using Retin-A, Retinol, Proactiv or Olay Regenerist. Can I still receive facial services?
A. Yes and no, depending on the type of service. When using any of the above products, you can still receive facials and microdermabrasion. It is strongly recommended to wait 1-1/2 to 2 weeks after use to have any type of face waxing done as this can damage the skin.

Q. Will the hair grow back thicker after waxing?
A. No. After regular waxing, the hair will actually start to thin.

Q. Do microdermabrasion facials really help?
A. YES! They remove more dead skin cells to brighten skin. Also, cell renewal and collagen reproduction are stimulated to produce younger and healthier skin.  It takes the dullness and roughness out of your skin and leaves it brighter and softer.

Q. Do men receive facials and body waxing?
A. Absolutely. Facials and total body waxing services are offered, but nothing more. Please remain a gentleman and not request questionable services. Save everyone the embarrassment.

Q. My back seems to break out when I get it waxed. Is this normal?
A. Yes, it can be. Everyones skin reacts differently to waxing just as some people break out after shaving. This can generally be alleviated by utilizing a good esthetician who is aware of which product best suits the clients skin type. You can also use PFB Vanish which is used after any type of hair removal to both prevent and treat ingrown hairs. Again, this helps most people but not everyone will have the same response to this product.
